Dental Implant From $999! (implant only)

Restore your smile and oral functionality with a dental implant treatment at one of our Miami offices.

Anyone at any age can suffer tooth loss. A teenager falls off his bike, landing hard against his mouth and loses one of his front teeth. After years of neglected periodontal disease, an adult must have one or more teeth extracted. Or a senior citizen is having teeth removed to prepare for dentures. All of these are examples of when dental implants from Floridian Dental Group can restore a tooth and renew a smile.

For patients who need to replace one or more teeth, dental implants can produce results unlike anything you can get with a traditional bridge, partial, or denture. That’s because implants mimic the tooth-and-root structure of a natural tooth.

Dental Implant Process

Most people are qualified candidates for dental implants, but to be sure our dentists will conduct a thorough oral examination and check to make sure you have sufficient volume in your jawbone to support implants. If not, then bone grafting may be necessary. Although the entire tooth replacement is usually referred to as a dental implant, it consists of two parts.

The dental implant and the tooth restoration. The implant is a small titanium screw or post that is surgically set in your jawbone. If you need only one tooth replaced, then only one implant is required. Two or more teeth—even an entire arch of teeth—will require several implants. Each implant is positioned to take full advantage of the strength of your bone tissue.

Dental Implant Restoration

As you heal from surgery over the course of a few months, the implant and bone fuse together in a process called osseointegration. This not only provides your restorative with added stability, but it also preserves and nourishes your jawbone, so you don’t lose any additional bone tissue. Without a root or implant to stimulate new bone growth, your jaw will begin to deteriorate, and the structure of your face will change—unfortunately not for the better. Most people begin to take on a more haggard and older appearance. Implants help you avoid this.

Once the implant and surrounding bone tissue are fully bonded, you’ll return to our office to have the tooth restoration attached to the implant. A porcelain crown is usually chosen to complete a single implant or implant retained partial or full dentures can be affixed to several implants when several teeth are missing.
